New York 25 May – It baffles me that India is vexatious about denial of entry in to Canada by the immigration officer to a retired CRPF officer Tejinder Singh Dhillon, a former inspector general of police for the Central Reserve Police Force. I question India`s strange behaviour. It`s bizarre that India is trying to tell Canada how to run their country said Sukhminder Singh Hansra, president of Shiromani Akali Dal (A) Canada.
Reacting to India`s reaction about the refusal of entry in to Canada Hansra asked if India is trying to cover their Governmental officer`s misdeeds?
Hansra noted that last month Indian Government unsuccessfully tried to tell Ontario Assembly that the passage of Genocide motion was misguided. Even the consulate general of India acknowledged his efforts to stop Ontario Government from tabling M-46, motion that recognizes the systemic killing of Sikhs in November 1984 was a planned Genocide.
Hansra said in a written statement that India needs to look at their own record of refusal to those who has unsuitable political belief, though they were born in India. India has refused countless people because of their political belief yet.
The Consulate General of India in Toronto is directly involved in trying to influence Canadian politicians. SADA Canada will write to RCMP to investigate the role of such foreign operatives said Hansra.
